He worked as an optometrist for Kaiser Permanente for 25 years before retiring and pursuing a third career as a farmer and Allis-Chalmers tractor collector. Over the years, he served on the Mount Hood Ski Patrol. He had endless curiosity, a deep value for education, and believed one person’s actions could make a difference.
