KaPeRs (Kaiser Permanente Northwest Retirees) Holiday luncheon meeting:

Thursday, December 11

*DoubleTree by Hilton - Portland, in the Lloyd District (just three blocks east of the KP Building). Doors open at 11:30, lunch at 12 noon, program starts at 12:30

Luncheon cost $30. The Entree selections are listed below. This year we will be offering a no host bar for wine and beer.

Registration details and more specifics about the meeting will be in the newsletter coming out today. If you are in touch with someone who does not get the newsletter, you could:

a) forward the newsletter to them OR

b) suggest they add their name to the newsletter distribution list by emailing their name and email address to kapersmembers@gmail.com OR

*There is ample free parking and easy access via the freeways and MAX to the DoubleTree, which is the SAME LOCATION as our October meeting.

Pre-registration is required. Doors open at 11:30. The luncheon price is $30 for members and guests. The last date to register online is December 3.

As a safety precaution, we suggest that you receive a flu shot and Covid booster. In case the event is cancelled due to weather or Covid guidelines, KaPeRs will forfeit our deposit. Be sure to give us your contact information on the registration so we can notify you. 

The lunch options are:

1. Cider-Brined-Turkey--House brined Turkey Breast, Sage Stuffing-Turkey Gravy, Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Cinnamon Butternut Squash with Pecans and Cranberries.

2. Baked-Eggpant-Gratin(Vegetarian) Slow Roasted Eggplant, Sauteed Kale, Spinach, Toasted Pine Nuts, Homemade Marinara Topped with Chef's Three-Cheese-Blend and finished with Herbed Panko Mix.

3.Baked-Eggpant-Gratin(Vegan-without the cheese)Slow Roasted Eggplant, Sauteed Kale, Spinach, Toasted Pine Nuts, Homemade Marinara and finished with Herbed Panko Mix.
