My Kaiser Story
Started in Kaiser Sunnyside as a Pharmacy Assistant in 1990. I then received Pharmacy Tech Certification for Oregon and Washington. I then transferred to Pharmacy Admin where I supported TOPS (The Outpatient Pharmacy System) and POS (Point of Sales) Applications. I was able to transfer to the IT side at Nicolai where I supported the TOPS Server and EKGs Server. Lastly I moved to the support of Epic for Onc, Rad Onc, Pharmacy and gained certifications in both Beacon and Ambulatory. Helped with the go live if Epic Inpatient at Sunnyside. Retired in May 2024 after nearly 30 years with Kaiser.
